WTH happened?

I went 3 and 2 this weekend, making my overall total for the season 20-14-2.

But the two I lost yesterday, Colorado -20.5 and under the total Tech/aTm....as well as the Tulsa game, and a few other crazy freakin things that happened, are BLOWING MY FREAKING MIND.

And how the hell does Kstate fumble on the 10? All you have to freaking do is hold on to the damn football and you win the freaking game. Now they come to stillwater pissed off, coming off two losses that shouldn't be....THAT'S JUST GREAT.

I'm happy to see top 25 teams lose. I love the underdog (though bet more favs). But I'm just freakin lost...How does UCLA beat Washington? UCLA is STILL NOT a good team.

Baylor scored 5 TD's in 17 minutes...FIVE touchdowns. They put up the most points the've ever scored against a big 12 team. How do you only score 10 points on SMU, and then put up 42 on ANYBODY? I'm glad as hell Baylor won the game. If I'm gonna lose my bet, hell, at least let them win. Colorado is quickly becoming $#!+. I didn't think they were GOOD, but I had them winning about 7 games this year. Hell, I don't know, I'm hungover and just rambling on....

These things that you describe are why a person just has to take the bad with the good. That's why if you do slightly better than 53% consider yourself a winner. Even the experts don't go over 60% and games like these are why.

This is also why you shouldn't "load up" on games you think are a lock. You never know when something like this might happen.

How true!! I was tempted to do something today I NEVER do which is over bet one gm. I WAS going to hit the Raiders very big on the ML, changed my mind at last min., that`s won money now. What a pisser. The dif. between the 1st & 2nd half in the UCLA gm was as much as I`ve seen, all on that one fumble.

It's pretty rare when I "load up" on a game.
